Circular die cutting process control
The key to circular die cutting is that the knife roll and the pressure roller should be parallel, and there should be no jumping during operation.
Whether it is a magnetic knife or a solid core knife, the knife plate manufacturing is determined by the thickness of the self-adhesive backing paper to be die-cut (silicone-containing oil layer). When installing the knife roll on the machine, the roll shoulders on both sides of the knife roll must be kept clean with the corresponding position on the machine, and the proper amount of lubricant should be dripped. Equilibrium adjustment of the two sides of the compression bolts, so that the knife roller does not significantly jump during operation.
Do not attempt to increase the die cutting pressure by over-tightening the compression bolts on both sides! Too much tightening of the compression bolts does not increase the die-cutting depth. On the contrary, the pressure on the roller shoulders becomes larger, the machine operation is blocked, the friction coefficient is increased, and the roller shoulders wear prematurely, causing the knife rollers to jump during operation.
