Novel blue inorganic pigments for odor-sensitive applications

Founded in 1914 as a family-owned company, Newbile Inorganic Pigments, Spain specializes in the production of inorganic pigments. The company has developed a new type of blue inorganic pigment specifically designed for applications that are sensitive to odors. The pigment, which is named Nubiperf FCP, has the same good performance as the ultramarine blue while ensuring the good sensory performance required for food and cosmetics packaging, medical and pharmaceutical packaging, and automotive interior parts. In fact, the manufacturing process used by Nubiel's Nubiperf FCP can significantly reduce the sulfur attached to the pigment structure and greatly reduce the sulfur derivatives attached to the pigment structure, thereby reducing the sulfur odor to an acceptable level. In addition, the good sensory performance of Nubiperf FCP remains unchanged at higher temperatures and higher shear stress conditions.
