Luminous ink preparation and use

Luminous ink is a mixture of luminous pigment and common ink. After absorbing sunlight or natural light for a certain period of time, it can keep shining in the dark for more than a few hours. With high heat resistance and abrasion resistance, it is suitable for various paper, textile, wood, plastic, metal, pottery and other materials.

Luminous ink preparation method:

1 luminous pigment suitable for neutral transparent resin.

2 Select different types of transparent ink according to different substrates for preparation.

3 Select C-type 20-40, D-type 10-15, E-type 5-10 and other smaller luminous pigments.

The amount of 4 luminous pigments is generally 30-50% of the total amount, or the amount of luminous pigment is determined according to the requirements of the luminous brightness. The higher the content of the luminescent pigment in the ink, the higher the luminescent brightness of the ink-printed pattern and the longer the luminescent time.

5 Luminous pigments cannot be ground, and can be dispersed and stirred at a high speed using a plastic container such as PE or a container with glass or porcelain lining.

6 Do not use heavy metal compounds as additives.

Luminous ink instructions for use:

1 ink viscosity is about 3000 ~ 5000 poise.

2 During printing, the viscosity of the ink is adjusted with a thinner according to the printing speed.

3 Use a white backing under a luminescent coating or print directly on a white substrate to increase the brightness and glow time of the printed pattern. If the underlying color is dark, the brightness of the light is reduced by 50%.

4 In order to obtain the ideal brightness of the light-emitting pattern, the minimum film thickness of the light-emitting ink layer should not be less than 100um.

(5) Since a lower mesh screen printing ink layer is thicker, a better light emitting effect pattern can be obtained, so it is desirable to use a 80-120 mesh screen.

61 kg of luminous powder can be used to formulate 2 liters of luminous ink.
