Determination of Isopimaric Acid in Platycladus orientalis Leaves by TLC

Determination of Isopimaric Acid in Platycladus orientalis by TLC Scanning Method: The chromatographic conditions were silica gel G: chloroform-methanol (100: 0.5); 2% vanillin concentrated sulfuric acid for color development; detection wavelength 560nm. Results: The average recovery rate was 97.7%, RSD = 2.16%. Conclusion: The method is simple, sensitive, accurate and repeatable, and can be used for the quality control of Platycladus orientalis and its products.
