British Royal Special Forces Training Manual (Chapter 1)

Chapter 7 Team Life

It is undeniable that

The life of special air services is often very exciting, because there are always real tasks waiting for you. Training is the main feature of special air missions. It is necessary to continuously improve and re-evaluate the skills of soldiers.

“When you tell people in the barracks, they will ask you this and ask it, like blood and intestines, you will give you two barrels to make them sound terrible. The most unforgettable thing after I went out was not to fight or It's ... charming chick, but it's a sense of adventure. You will be at the barracks on Monday, but you won't know where it is for the next two or three days: Africa, South America, or anywhere else. You know, you must meet some people who are born and died. If you need them, they will do it for you, and you will do so. Maybe the team is like this: life is not easy, it's even tough, but anyway, you have to be in it."

The description of the 22nd Special Air Corps veteran is the best introduction to team life. The deeper impression is that the adventures of the special team are closely linked with the partnership. According to its team members, the mission of the special air traffic mission is the most difficult task in the world. Its experience goes far beyond the imagination of the people. For the 10-15 people who have survived the selection, this is their world. The team has in fact become an extension of their family and they have also become respected members.

Next, talk about the internal life of the special airline mission. What is its daily work? When a new member of the special services team is awarded at the veteran ceremony—when he lacks experience and resilience—what will he do next year?

Special airline organization structure

To understand the life of a new crew member in a special airline, one must have a basic understanding of the organizational structure of the special aircrew. What the new team does and what it will become is largely governed by this structure and its position.

The top of the special aircrews organization is the special operations team. It consists of a variety of special operations units: the Royal Marine Corps special boat squadron, four special air missions (21st, 22nd, 23rd special air missions and 63rd special signal squadrons, of the 4 units, only the 22nd special Air crews are regular troops). Later, the 22nd regiment was subdivided into several sections. They include: Combat Search Alliance, Headquarters Planning and Intelligence, Innovative Operational Wing, Training Wing, No. 264 Signal Squadron, Relevant Panel of Experts, and finally our new member Cavalry Squadron.

The cavalry squadron is the backbone of the 22nd special air traffic mission. They include the five squadrons A, B, D, G and R. The latter is a local reserve team. Each reserve squadron includes a squadron headquarters and four cavalry companies. Each company is specially trained according to different forms of combat. They are Mountain Link, Boat Squadron, Mobile Link and Aviation Squadron. According to the sequence, there are four patrol officers per company, but their tasks are different.

As a special company, new members of the special airline regiment generally have to train in cavalry first. He then discovers or accepts a profession that suits him. These include logistics, medical care, parachute drop, or artillery control.

Ironically, when these new players have just completed one of the world's longest and most rigorous training, they will immediately begin to accept new training courses. Indeed, in a special airline mission, training is endless. Its skills need to constantly improve based on the international situation, regional conflicts and technological developments. The biggest difference is that despite the training, the soldiers are ready to go on the battlefield.

Living in a special air mission is also very exciting and satisfying: lively life but always ready to travel abroad. Especially for outsiders, how easy is their life. The soldiers seem to be able to do whatever they like without having to constantly accept orders and the dress is up to them. However, the surface phenomenon of loose discipline is completely inconsistent with the facts. The biggest difference between a special air force regiment and the regular army is that the special secret service’s soldiers have strong self-restraint capabilities that do not require the use of external forces. The special mission’s combat characteristics also determine that its soldiers must complete their missions independently of their superiors. So if they can't discipline themselves, then the task will start from the beginning.

However, this is not to say that soldiers can think in whatever way they like. There are various training and operational requirements in the regiment. Soldiers need to maintain a high degree of enthusiasm to accomplish their own tasks. Generally during the trial period, the soldiers will stay, but even in the harsh and rigorous selection-subsequent training period, if one step is wrong, then it will be open.

After the enlistment, the first phase of the Special Service Corps soldiers will be placed in a special squadron, and special training will be performed as soon as they arrive. Sometimes reference will be made to soldiers’ military or civil technology. If you speak 2-3 foreign languages before entering the special service group, the soldier’s expertise may be a linguistic expert. If you are familiar with computers, communication will be his specialty. The special air crew will direct the soldier to maximize his potential in order to be able to perform four-man patrols, cavalry companies, and cavalry squadrons.

Special airline professional

As a new member of the special airline mission, the training you receive in the group will put you on the top of all military training projects. Based on the skills learned in the selection of new players and follow-up training, you will be an integral part of the special air crew. However, in this elite unit you have to receive a wide education. The special service team will train you to become an expert on one or two sides. Each of the secret service soldiers is an operational skills expert. However, it is impossible to control all the military skills in the regiment. So training soldiers in a particular field or more potential areas of expertise, special air missions also have its genius in all aspects of combat.

The specialties of a special airline service are endless. Some professions are common, such as blasting experts or communication specialists. Some are rare in the regular forces. Such as locksmiths, language experts and so on. No matter what kind of expertise you have, but in the first stage of training, you have to be subject to the unit's control. First of all, let's take a look at the special skills of each company and then learn about other skills.
