Analysis of the failure of the Kalando steel drum sealing machine in the United States

First, the problem arises.

Our factory introduced the middle section of 200 liter steel drum from the Calanto Machine Factory of the United States (CARANDO), and began to debug from October 8, 1987. During the commissioning phase and trial production, the machine has two cabinets that are not reset, causing the equipment to be delayed and put into production. According to the contract, the Calando factory dispatched technicians to our factory for debugging from October 1987, January and March 1988. It took more than 50 days and cost tens of thousands of dollars. Did not solve the problem. In order for the equipment to be inspected and put into production at an early date, this failure must be analyzed to find out the reasons for making reasonable suggestions or claims to the US.

Second, analyze the reasons.

When the small-volume trial production of the crimping machine is less than 2 hours, the equipment moves normally. After several hours of continuous production, there will be a failure in the two sides of the box. When the machine is intermittent, it will return to normal after a few days. If it is continuously produced for several hours, the fault will still occur.

Analyze the cause of the failure from the following aspects.

1. The driving force of the two drive cylinders that push the box to move is insufficient.

The system pressure is 80bar: 81.6kgf/cm2

The diameter of the cylinder is b. 6.35cm, and the diameter of the piston rod b is 3.5cm.

Forward thrust P precursor = 81.6 × 31.7 = 2086.7kgf

Backward pull force P drive = 81.6 × 22.1 = 1803.4kgf

After calculation, the driving force is not enough.

2. The rigidity of the guide post is insufficient, so that the gap between the guide and the guide sleeve is too small;

The mechanical model for calculating the stiffness of the guide column is shown in Figure 2.

Since the structure is a double guide column and the longitudinal and lateral directions are symmetrical, the instrument is shown to be longitudinally symmetric half. In the calculation, the deformation of the bearing support is ignored, and the installation of the guide post and the bearing support and the same end are ideal.

(2) Verify the deformation between the guide post and the gap between the guide sleeves.

The difference between â–³YB and â–³Yc is within the reasonable clearance range of the guide post and the guide sleeve.

The effect of the stiffness of the guide post can be ruled out by calculation.

3. The guide column and guide bush are poorly lubricated.

Reasoning from technical experience may be due to the slight deformation of the bearing support, the poor coaxiality of the installation, the slight deformation of the guide post, and the oil-off or oil-free condition between the guide post and the guide bush, resulting in friction from friction to thousands of friction. The resistance is increased, so that two cases cannot be reset.

For this reason, no matter whether the guide post and the guide sleeve have oil, re-inject the lubricating oil for commissioning and trial production. The two boxes do not reset the barrier phenomenon. Through one-stage continuous trial production, the fault no longer occurs.

Third, the conclusion:

There is little or no lubricating oil between the guide post and the guide bush. In addition, the micro-deformation of the structural members such as the guide post causes the guide post and the guide bush to generate dry friction under the slight deformation, resulting in an increase in the movement resistance, so that the box cannot be Reset.

Based on the above analysis, our factory has taken corresponding measures to solve the very difficult problem of the US network Calando machine factory, so that the crimping machine will soon be put into production.
