The world's first full-PP material chocolate box is available in France

Recently, Cosfibel's innovative packaging company in France designed the world's first full PP (polypropylene) material for chocolate packaging. This is a re-sealable, reusable plastic case. It has been used to package Finesses de Chocolat chocolates from R∈villon Chocolatier.

The new packaging is a drawer-type packaging container. Inside is a rigid PP drawer with a thickness of 80 cm thick. There are two hollow cavities on it, each of which holds a thermoformed PP material tray for chocolate products. The outer package is a 50 micron thick PP material shell. This all-PP material box is manufactured by Roskoplast, a subsidiary of the Cosfibel Group. The PP material clam shell is printed using a combination of two printing methods, and the uV printing technology is used to print the packaged full-color pattern. In addition, gilt effects are printed on the outer surface of the package using screen printing. The combination of the two printing methods produces a very beautiful package that is dazzling and has a significant impact on the shelf, helping Revillon Chocolatier differentiate its products. Cosfibel believes that compared with the packaging of cardboard materials, PP packaging products are more attractive, have a good touch, and have excellent printability.
