(12) Then drag the linear gradient from left to right in a rectangular selection. Set the layer blending mode to Normal and the opacity to 60%, as shown in Figure 10-39. The bottleneck effect is shown in Figure 10-40.

(13) Click the Pen Tool in the Toolbox to outline the corners, as shown in Figure 10-41. Press Ctrl + Enter to change to a selection. Set the foreground color to "C: 69, M: 63, Y: 26, K: 1", as shown in Figure 10-42.

(14) Press Ctrl+Alt+D to set the feathering radius to 3 pixels in the [Feathered Selection] dialog box, as shown in Figure 10-43. After filling the selection, set the layer mode to Normal and the opacity to 20%, as shown in Figure 10-44. Create a bottleneck effect, as shown in Figure 10-45.
