On February 28, 2013, the technical acceptance meeting of the National Natural Science Foundation of China's key project "Large-Aperture Active Optical Submillimeter / millimeter Wave Telescope Scheme and Key Technology Research" was held at the Nanjing Astronomical Optical Technology Institute. The meeting invited leaders and experts from the National Natural Science Foundation of China, Nanjing University, Purple Mountain Observatory, Xinjiang Observatory, and National Astronomical Observatory. .
The research on the scheme and key technology of large-aperture active optical submillimeter / millimeter wave telescope is to build a 30-meter aperture submillimeter wave (observation wavelength up to 0.2 mm) and a 100-meter aperture millimeter wave telescope (observation (Wavelength up to 3 mm) make technical preparations. In the research process, a set of experimental prototypes suitable for sub-millimeter waves was developed. The single panel (650mm X 650mm) is better than 5 microns, and the first four panel splicing has been achieved in China, with a common phase accuracy of 12 Micron; for the first time, a laser normal deviation measurement method that can be used for the detection of the reflective surface of radio telescopes was proposed; and for the first time in China, an electromechanical micro-displacement actuator with a resolution of 10 nanometers was independently developed.
On behalf of the project team, the project leader reported on the implementation of the "Large-Aperture Active Optical Submillimeter / millimeter Wave Telescope Scheme and Key Technology Research" project, as well as technological innovation, patents and documentation, talent training, international exchanges and cooperation, etc. Results. Researcher Zuo Yingxi, the leader of the project testing expert group, reported the results of the field test. The expert group carefully reviewed the content of the project's expected research, experimental results and related technical data, and inspected the experimental prototype and panel detection device on site. Experts believe that the technical results achieved in the "Large Aperture Active Optical Submillimeter / millimeter Wave Telescope Program and Key Technology Research" project will provide important key technical support for China to build a high-precision large aperture submillimeter wave / millimeter wave telescope.
