Mitsubishi Imaging Corporation Launches Eco-Friendly Inkjet Paper

Recently, Mitsubishi Imaging announced that its environmentally-friendly inkjet printing paper has been certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC). This series of papers is produced by its parent company, Mitsubishi Paper Mill (MPM).

Steven Vallario, Director of Digital Imaging Marketing at Mitsubishi Imaging Corporation, said: “The demand for environmentally friendly papers is now increasing, and our awareness of environmental protection is growing. The FSC certification is a testament to our products’ social and environmental recognition. Makes Mitsubishi Imaging's corporate philosophy more perfect."

According to the International Forest Stewardship Council, about 40% of the wood used in all commercial transactions worldwide is for paper production. The consumption of paper is expected to increase by about 50% in the next few years. The United States is the largest market for paper products worldwide, producing about 90 million tons of paper annually and 100 million tons of paper.
