Germany developed foam paper

The PSP company in Bremen, Germany, has developed a foam paper production process. The packaging materials produced with it can replace foams. The foam paper produced by the company uses old books scrap paper and flour as raw materials. The recovered old newspapers were first cut into shreds, then ground into fibrous pulp, mixed with flour in a ratio of 2:1, and the mixed pulp was injected into the extruder to form cylindrical pellets. In the extrusion process, the raw material is exposed to water vapor and forms foam paper. Using foamed paper pellets as raw materials, it is possible to produce unshaped packaging plastics according to different needs. Foam paper can be molded once without chemical additives and can be recycled and reprocessed after use.
