The MEG paper holder of one of the company's rotary machines has recently had some problems. When the diameter of the residual paper roll drops to a preset value, it will automatically whistle, but it will not rotate automatically, making the MEG paper holder take the paper. Can't continue. In this article, the author will share with you the troubleshooting process of this fault.
Fault phenomenon analysis
During the troubleshooting process, the author found that when manually operating the MEG paper tray up and down rotation button, the upper and lower rotating motor can be heard “å±å±â€, but does not rotate, and the display data of the inverter changes from LS to 11.2 and then rests, and normal. The data of the MEG paper tray inverter display can be changed to 50.0 during manual operation or automatic paper feeding. I also use the 200VDC file of the multimeter to measure the output point 1 (ie PLA) of the inverter 1MD (as shown in Figure 1), and find that there is no 24VDC signal; measure the input signal of the inverter and find the input of the MEG paper holder with normal operation. The signal is exactly the same. Therefore, the author suspects that the inverter 1MD itself has a fault.
In order to further determine the source of the fault, the author exchanged the inverter 1MD of the MEG paper holder with the inverter 1MD of another MEG paper holder that was working normally, and then measured and found that the fault phenomenon was transferred to another MEG paper holder. Therefore, it is finally determined that the inverter 1MD of the MEG paper holder itself has failed.
Fault correction scheme
Option 1: Replace the inverter
The housing of the inverter 1MD is opened, and each component is measured in reverse order from the output point 1 (i.e., PLA), and it is found that the output point 1 is connected to a normally open contact of the small relay K2 of the board. From the parameters indicated on the relay casing, the coil voltage of the relay is 12 VDC, so I suspect that the contact of the relay has deteriorated. However, because there is no spare part of the same model, no further judgment can be made. The author thought of removing the relay, supplying it with 12VDC power supply and measuring the on/off condition of the normally open contact.
The specific method is: the relay K2 is removed from the circuit board, and the relay K2 coil is powered by the 12VDC power supply on the host computer, and a switch is connected in the middle. Turn on and off several times to measure the on/off condition of the normally open contact. It is known from the measurement results that the contact does not pass, and the resistance value is large, indicating that the contact of the relay does not age.
Since the relay is disposable and cannot be repaired, it has to be purchased with a brand new relay. However, the same type of relay cannot be purchased locally, and only a relay with a slightly larger size but the same parameters can be purchased instead. In this way, the new relay can not be soldered to the original position of the circuit board, so the wire is used to solder the solder joint on the circuit board to the pin of the relay, and the insulation protection is handled, and the space is placed in the inverter casing. The place. After reinstalling the inverter after replacing the relay on the MEG paper holder, the MEG paper tray operation returned to normal.
