1. Abrasion (damage to the skin surface after rubbing)

 

Scuffing is the most common type of injury that occurs during exercise. It is the result of external friction on the skin. The skin is wiped by bleeding or exuded with tissue fluid.

 

Treatment method: The wound is shallow and the area is small. The wound can be washed with normal saline or cold water. The surrounding area is sterilized with 2.5% iodine and 75% alcohol cotton balls around the wound. If gravel or other debris is used, apply Disinfect the tool clean. Apply red mercury or purple syrup to the wound and wait until dry. Do not need dressing. However, facial abrasions are best not to be painted with gentian violet; if the wound is deep, they should be rubbed with red syrup. In severe cases, they should go to the hospital for treatment and inject a “tetanus” needle. It is also not recommended to use exposure therapy for bruises near the joints to avoid dry skin and affect joint motion.

 

Wrong approach: Wash the wound directly with tap water.

 

2 . Laceration, stabs, and cuts

 

Skin lacerations: Mostly occur on the head, especially on the forehead and face. If the tearing is small, after the hemostasis and disinfecting treatment, it can be glued with adhesive paste; if the wound is large, it needs to be sutured. Use antibiotic treatment. The puncture and cutting treatments are basically the same as lacerations. When tetanus is injured and the wound is small and deep, tetanus antitoxin should be injected.
