New packaging material that can replace paper

A British chemical company developed a filled plastic packaging material that can be used as a substitute for paper and board.
This packaging material is a mixture of polypropylene (60%) and talc (40%). Its main advantages are: it is much stronger than paper or paperboard, and it has excellent moisture resistance and can withstand temperatures above 130 degrees Celsius. High temperature, high strength, in addition to the hot forming process can be used to suppress a variety of shapes, but also can be printed and folded like ordinary packaging materials, dimensional stability and ease of use for patterns to be installed.
