Column battery manufacturing steps and process flow
Cylindrical cells, also known as cylindrical cells, are shaped like cylindrical cells in terms of their appearance. Typical models are AAA, 18650, 26650, and 32650. The following Kejing will provide you with the steps and equipment for making this battery. It is mainly divided into four steps:step
Process flow
Recommended Equipment (click picture for details)
Electrode preparation
1. Rotary furnace sintering preparation of active materials
2. Mix and grind the prepared material
3. Vacuum mixing the prepared positive and negative electrode mixtures
4. Use a viscometer to measure the viscosity of the paste when the coating effect is good, and record it so that the battery paste can be adjusted to this viscosity in the next experiment.
5. Use a slurry processor to filter the slurry
6. The positive and negative slurry are respectively coated on the current collector and dried
7. Roll the dried positive and negative sheets to reduce the thickness and increase the density.
Battery manufacturing
8. Strip the pole piece and diaphragm into strips of a certain width with a slitter
9. Using an ultrasonic spot welder to weld the tabs to the current collector
10.Put the pole piece and diaphragm onto the winding machine (stack order: diaphragm + positive + diaphragm + negative)
11. Measure whether the battery is short-circuited
12. Put the core into a vacuum drying oven for further drying
Molded package
13. Put the battery core into the battery case and weld the negative electrode tab to the negative electrode shell with a spot welder.
14. Roll groove forming with roller groover for easy packaging
15. Solder the positive tab to the battery cap with a spot welder
16. Move batteries, electrolytes, stationary boxes, cylindrical battery packers, and other related items to the glove box
17.Inject the appropriate amount of electrolyte into the battery case
18. After injecting electrolyte, vacuum rest
19. In the glove box, use the packaging machine for battery packaging
20. Wrap the battery case with a thermoplastic sleeve to separate the positive and negative terminals
Battery test
21. Use a battery analyzer to charge and discharge the battery to activate the active material in the battery. And test the battery capacity, do the appropriate cycle test.
22. Measuring the internal resistance of the battery with an internal resistance tester
